I am genuinely passionate about information governance and have been lucky to have a career covering such varied sectors. An Information Compliance professional with 23 years experience in Data Protection, Information Security, Freedom of Information and Records Management. A career covering both public and private sector organisations (Police/NHS/Local Gov/Education & Next, Fintech) CIPP/E and ISEB qualified. I have written and implemented corporate information compliance strategies, policies, procedures and guidance. Embedding DPIA processes, third party supplier due diligence reviews, developing privacy notices, writing data sharing and data processing agreements. Working within large multi site and multi country organisations, processing high volumes of sensitive personal data. Experienced in managing serious data incidents and liaising with the ICO and key stakeholders to remediate. A team manager since 2005 and senior leader since 2016, I have also gained management qualifications from the LMA.
