I am a nurse manager with over 15 years of nursing experience and a Bachelor's degree in Registered Nursing. I oversee the Single Call Medicine program at Atrium Health, a leading healthcare system that aims to improve health, elevate hope, and advance healing for all. In this innovative role, I triage and assign incoming hospital admissions to multiple medical teams, including the virtual hospital, which provides care to patients remotely. I collaborate with stakeholders from various service lines to optimize hospital capacity and ensure quality patient care. I also manage and coach a large group of hospitalists, coordinating their schedules and handoffs, and providing them with clinical and operational guidance. I leverage my skills in communication, remote team leadership, and goal setting to empower my team and achieve our objectives and key results (OKRs).
