Reflecting on over 15 Years in Special Education Reflecting on my journey in special education, spanning over 15 remarkable years, I am filled with a sense of accomplishment and purpose. Starting in the classroom and evolving into administrative roles, my path has been as challenging as it has been rewarding. ‍ From Classroom Insights to Administrative Strategy: My initial years as a teacher were foundational, filled with profound moments of connection and learning. Each student I worked with taught me invaluable lessons about patience, creativity, and the diverse ways we can all learn and thrive. Shifting to Administration: Transitioning to administrative roles allowed me to scale my impact. Here, I focused on creating inclusive policies, advocating for necessary resources, and ensuring that our educational systems are not just equipped but are enthusiastic about supporting every student's unique journey.
