My career spans more than twenty years experience within the supply chain industry where I have successfully worked for some of Australia’s leading logistics & retail groups including TNT Express, Mainfreight, Owens International, Bronson & Jacobs (Orica Group) & Fantastic Holdings. During this time I have been promoted on numerous occasions and held a number of management roles including National Ocean Freight Manager, Account Manager, Import & Export Freight Manager. As a result I have a diverse skill set spanning all facets of the Supply Chain industry, including ocean freight, quality, warehousing, freight forwarding and global cargo. As a senior manager I have also demonstrated my strong business acumen, negotiation skills and ability to foster a positive team environment that is geared towards the achievement of short, medium and long term business objectives. As a result I have a diverse skill set spanning all facets of the Supply Chain & Logistics industry, including road transport, warehousing, rail, freight forwarding, global cargo, and supplier management. In particular, I am experienced in formulating strategic plans, preparing and analysing financial forecasts and budgets, managing change within the organisation, negotiating contracts and contract renewals, fostering positive working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders and resolving complex issues in a prompt and effective manner.
