About Sara Moffitt
As Facility Director for the Bybee Lakes Hope Center, a part of the Helping Hands Reentry Outreach Centers, I use my personal and professional experience to be a part of providing care for those experiencing addiction and homelessness. I completed my Associate’s degree in Criminal Justice and was able to apply my earned skills at Correctional Facilities for Mohave County and state of Arizona. I then worked in a Behavioral Health facility, which put to good use my professional experience and my life-long personal experiences caring for several family members suffering with addiction and homelessness. In my personal life, I have enjoyed volunteering at a wild animal sanctuary and was able to adopt my best friend’s teenage son to provide support to them both through a difficult time. After relocating to Oregon from Arizona in 2019, my partner and I have explored Portland, the coast, and surrounding areas discovering the beauty of nature, the creativity of the people and so much that the PNW has to offer.
