About Sara Nicholson

Hi! I specialize in print and packaging design, and love creating materials to enhance businesses, brands and special events. I am very proficient in many Adobe Creative Programs (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat Professional, and Muse). Currently I work for LM Restaurants, a company I love and who owns many restaurants I love as well. On a typical day I can be found working on menus, promotional materials, ads, eblasts, banners, and dozens of other items needed to promote the restaurants and keep them running smoothly. Additionally I manage the design projects and coordinate the printing. Before that I had 11 years experience in the Marketing Dept. of a large company where over the years I gained the role of Graphic Design Supervisor. In that role I created all of the company's product packaging (printed bags and outer shipping cases) and marketing materials (such as brochures, ads, posters, etc), along with handling many other things such as website and catalog updates, creating planograms and coupons, and working closely with outside agencies for things such as translation and legal/trademark needs. Over the years I also had experience with marketing communications, trade show planning, proofreading, coordination of printing and mailings, analyzing and preparing reports - I can tackle just about anything marketing or design-related.
