Hello, I'm Sara, a driven and highly motivated media studies graduate with a strong passion for the media industry and a drive to succeed in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Throughout my studies, I developed a deep understanding of the media landscape and the impact it has on society and businesses. Through my studies I also had the opportunity to enhance my writing, communication, and research skills. In my previous role as a public relations intern, I gained creative, hands-on experience developing public relations programs, communications strategies, and special events for a broad client base. Beyond work, I am passionate about being a leader and advocating for students to improve their university experience. One of my favorite things to do is help people through mentorship, conversation, and acts of service. With a wide range of different work and volunteer experiences, I have developed and enhanced skills such as leadership, communication, critical thinking, problem-solving, teamwork, and collaboration. However, I am always seeking new opportunities that will allow me to make mistakes so I can expand my knowledge and skillset in ways that will contribute to self-growth.
