About Sara Paydar

Passionate about the intersection of advanced ceramics and electrochemistry, a synergy most powerfully realized in Solid Oxide Fuel Cells (SOFCs) and energy storage systems. With over 13 years of specialized experience in SOFC research and development, my work focuses on the design, synthesis, and optimization of composite materials, including the development of three-layer SOFC architectures and intermediate-temperature SOFCs using advanced fabrication techniques. My expertise extends to enhancing the energy efficiency and long-term stability of both SOFCs and Solid Oxide Electrolysis Cells (SOECs) through the development of next-generation electrode and electrolyte materials for high-performance applications. I'm also actively engaged in co-electrolysis of H₂O and CO₂ using SOECs to produce sustainable syngas, contributing to innovations in carbon-neutral energy technologies.
