About Sara Rainey

I have over nine years of medical office experience. I have experience in both front office and back office duties. I have been working in patient financial services for the last four years. I am currently a Clinic Collector, Patient Financial Counselor and Patient Eligibility and Intake Supervisor. I help our patients sign up for Medicaid of Washington and Idaho, assist our patients in filling out financial applications for our facilities financial assistance program, and help our patients apply for Breast and Cervical programs in both Washington and Idaho. I review and send out billing statements to our patients, make collections calls, send accounts to collections, set up payment plans, accept payments, post payments to patient accounts, prepare and write off financial assistance determinations, and help prepare the monthly board report. Before I worked in patient financial services I was a Medical Assistant and Radiology Technician for about five years. I have worked in many different settings of health care such as work comp clinics, urgent care, and primary care. I did clinical hours for Radiology at the Bremerton Naval Base, Tempe St. Lukes and Phoenix St. Lukes. I currently work in rural health care and strive to learn more about it every day.
