Hello! I'm Sara Samani a dedicated professional with a background in psychology and a fervent commitment to mental health advocacy. I earned my Psychology degree from UBC, engaging in research projects focused on cognitive and developmental psychology at UBC MC Lab. Transitioning into the non-profit sector, I supported children with autism, witnessing the impact of practical interventions firsthand. As a behavioral interventionist specializing in working with children on the autism spectrum, I applied psychological principles to improve their quality of life and facilitate their development. Simultaneously, I honed leadership skills in the water safety industry, serving as a Senior Aquatic Leader and Instructor for over a decade. Currently pursuing a Masters in Clinical Psychology at Yorkville University, I aim to become a Registered Clinical Counsellor, equipped with diverse therapeutic approaches.
