About Sara Scheffer

I am a senior at Georgia College who does not seek to meet, but seeks to exceed all expectations. I am pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication with a public relations concentration. I consider myself a “student of life” as I am always looking for an eye-opening, if not ideal learning experience. Traveling, meeting and talking with people from all different backgrounds has been a passion of mine since I was young, and has greatly influenced my educational endeavors. I am very passionate about my area of study and have thoroughly enjoyed the type of work associated with it. I have gained a particular interest in graphic and web design and pursued this interest as just that. My success in this area is a self-taught and self-motivated accomplishment. In addition to what is seen on my resume, I am highly organized and detailed oriented. During my college process and summer internships, I have discovered that I am a natural leader as well as a team player. I work thoroughly and diligently with every task I am responsible for, and take on additional responsibility at every opportunity. I am punctual and hold myself to a very high standard that has enabled me to excel in various areas outside of my concentration such as event planning and marketing. I have a commitment-based work ethic that I pride myself on. I am outgoing, charismatic and have developed a particular strength in establishing concrete relationships with all of my clients. In the past, I have collaborated and helped plan events with various organizations on campus. The useful skills I have gained from those events, as well as my current skill set and willingness to work and learn will allow me to fulfill the duties of any opportunity available in my extensive field of study. I am an excellent candidate for an opportunity in public relations, marketing and graphic design. When given an opportunity I venture to well exceed all expectations.
