About Sara Schlueter Hoeman

I most recently worked in social media marketing at The Social Lights agency in Minneapolis. I had a hand in crafting social media strategies, insights reports and managing day to day social media work for clients in food manufacturing, life sciences and CPG brands. I have a true passion for connecting dots with internal and external team members to create stories rooted in data and insights. In addition to social media experience, I have been involved in the digital media and paid media space, creating and managing media plans for clients in healthcare, and agriculture among others. Previously at Story Stick Marketing, I served as a project coordinator. My job duties included connecting with clients frequently, building relationships of trust and managing all parts of projects. I enjoyed getting to know our clients and understanding their business needs, and then working with our internal team to make their vision come to life within budget and on time. This kind of collaboration between clients and creative teams results in the best work. To go along with this, I worked closely with our creative teams to develop creative or project briefs to deliver to the client that outline all specific goals, objectives and messaging so everyone can confidently begin work right from project kick off. I also enjoyed creating content strategies and brainstorming new and innovative ideas we can bring to our clients. Our teams were able to keep client brand standards and needs in mind while continuing to challenge and push forward. In the magazine industry at Minneapolis-St. Paul Communications, I had the ability to work with client teams from a variety of companies to create custom content products. I learned how to take a client message and turn it into something that would relate to the customer or intended audience, while still sticking close to the brand voice and tone. I learned here what makes a good story—a skill that helps any role within a creative agency. I have a strong desire to better my community, and I previously served on the Associate Board of Directors for Girls on the Run Twin Cities, and I teach yoga at CorePower Yoga in the Minneapolis community. I also write freelance articles for Lake Minnetonka Lifestyle Magazine.
