About Sara Schultz

As a licensed outpatient mental health therapist since 2014 I have predominantly worked with individuals who are diagnosed with BPD, PTSD/Trauma, Anxiety Disorders, Depressive Disorders, ADHD and/or Gender Dysphoria. I have experience in facilitating psycho-educational skills training groups. I also have worked extensively with sexual orientation and gender identity minority individuals. I'm trained in DBT, DBT-Prolonged Exposure Therapy, and the clinical application of mindfulness and mind-body practices. I am currently enrolled in the 3 year Somatic Experiencing Practitioner training program. My journey with yoga began in 2013. I found yoga to be helpful in helping me reconnect to myself better tolerate difficulty. After completing my Master's thesis in 2014 (which involved an abbreviated MBSR program) I wanted to deepen my understanding of mindfulness I chose to pursue 200 hour deeper practice yoga teacher training which I completed throughout 2015. I have taught yoga and mindfulness privately and in the community on and off since then. Currently not teaching and focusing on my practice as a student.
