About Sara Scott

My work in the mental health field began in 2013 where I worked for 10-years on a mental health acute support unit with youth (ages 9-15) in downtown Toronto. While pursuing my Master's degree in Counselling Psychology, I began working with clients who have brain injuries and with this, I focused on helping clients improve their day-to-day functioning and overall quality of life, including community reintegration, and helping clients to gain both awareness in their abilities and supporting clients in modifying their day-to-day activities. I then began my Masters’ placement at a Private Practice in Mississauga, ON, where I was hired on full-time and continue to support individuals, couples, and families. My niche and area of focus includes, but not limited to, working with members of the LGBTQIA+ community, ENM relationships/polyamorous relationships, sex & intimacy, relational work, trauma, anxiety, depression, and ADHD. Currently registered with both the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and the College of Licensed Therapists of New Brunswick (Cctnb).
