About Sara Stevens

Rich with passionate and prosocial ambition, I am driven to contribute to the evolution of humanity and the success of the collective. I seek to collaborate and craft environments that allow potential to be known and pursued, regardless of context or scale. An environment that lives values of truth, service, discipline, and integrity is where I thrive. I am responsible for health, safety, security, environment, and emergency management programs, ensuring effectiveness, compliance, and sustainability. These responsibilities have afforded the opportunity to continuously develop technical and non-technical expertise. The interplay between GRC, people, and optimal operations is an area of great interest to me. One of my favorite challenges related to this is the development of committed, high performing individuals and teams. I am analytical and systematic yet versatile. It is in my nature to dig deep and question. This applies to my personal and professional environments. I deconstruct to identify interwoven components and detangle to gain insights on the fundamental problem(s). I’m not at peace “band-aiding". My orderly traits - logic, emotional discipline, structure - are balanced with a love of trying something new or acting in an unexpected manner just to "see what will happen". I love to play and laugh and I credit my daughter with reintroducing me to the wonder and incredible possibilities of existence.
