About Sara Tortorice

As a certified medical assistant, my duty is to ensure a smooth and cohesive day for my physician, as well as setting the stage for proper patient care. I assist by ensuring all required paperwork is completed, exam rooms are clean and stocked, patients are escorted to proper rooms where ECG's are recorded, vitals are taken, medication lists are updated, and immunizations are up to date. My role is to ensure my physician has all they need when seeing a patient so that patient care can be focused on properly and efficiently. I am also flexible enough to assist in clerical and administrative duties. Being prepared for wherever I may be needed at any given time is vital to success in an ever changing profession such as ours.
