NC Board Certified Pharmacy Technician, with experience working in the pharmaceutical retail industry. Patient care experience through current position as pharmacy technician. Experience communicating with doctors, patients and insurance companies. Perform monthly blood pressure screenings for patients at the pharmacy. Prior experience working with patients during my CNA I training. Summer continuing education with Wake Technical Community College provided insight to patient care, and provided me with experience working one-on-one with patients on the orthopedic floor of Wake Hospital. Completed 40 hours of clinical work for completion of course and for certification from school. Specialties: Micro Bio: Aseptic techniques in lab, microscopic skills (preparing & developing slides, staining & examining), microbial growth and culturing in varying conditions. Vertebrate Anatomy & Physiology: Extensive training in dissections and identification of tissues and organs. Developmental Bio: Studied scientific journals relative to eukaryote development. Ecology: In depth studies of local & global habitats, interconnections of ecological niches, current issues. Chemistry: Organic/inorganic courses
