I like to describe my work style as organic. I have an innate ability to connect and work with anyone. People trust me because I treat them genuinely. I’ve built alliances with buisness partners, vendors, nonprofits, and staff to create programs that advance missions and make good business sense. As a leader, I cultivate. I firmly believe that effective leaders make themselves expendable. I encourage staff to be forthcoming when their professional expectations aren’t being met and to share their ideas for change. Rather than dictate their course or plot a roadmap, I turn them in the right direction and let them chart their own paths.
