Background

About Sara Warman

My career path has not been linear - I have been an archaeologist, curatorial assistant, retail worker, accounting technician, soup kitchen manager, teacher, job coach and most recently, labour advocate. I am also a mother, grandmother, sister and daughter. My journey has had a lot of upheaval at times, requiring me to be comfortable with change and uncertainty. Through these personal and professional experiences, I have combined an abiding desire to help others with a passion for creativity and life-long learning. The skill I use every day is my ability to communicate with diverse people with humour, empathy, and curiosity. Over the last few years I have had the opportunity to collaborate with amazing colleagues, apply design thinking for solving complex problems and use technology in innovative ways. Today I see myself as a storyteller, artist, educator, and advocate. My motto is Listen - Think - Collaborate - Create!
