Key skills and successes are highlighted in the following achievements: •Introduced Rio Tinto’s first ever paid parental leave minimum standard across the organization, aligned to ILO best practice and exceeding Mining industry standards. •Led the reset of Rio Tinto’s Group wide graduate strategy with a thorough examination of current state performance in intake, development and retention of early career professionals in business critical roles against external supply and demand implications to develop a path forward. •As acting Global HR executive for the Diamonds and Minerals Product group, a portfolio of mines and development projects spanning 5 continents and employing 8,500 employees; partnered with the senior leadership team to meet aggressive improvement targets as mineral prices softened in many markets, alongside leading team through a transformational restructure of HR. •Managed large scale people projects, for example, project managing the global remuneration review for the Diamonds & Minerals Product group resulting in strategic allocation of over 60 M USD across a strong employee base in more than 16 countries.
