Background

About Sarah A. James

I am a skilled quantitative researcher who loves to tackle thorny problems. I excel at synthesizing complex evidence and distilling it into actionable insights, meaningful metrics, and elegant visualizations. Leveraging 13 years of increasingly complex quantitative survey data analysis experience as a social scientist in a university setting, I have the proven ability to convert stakeholders’ broad goals into actionable evaluations, use data to answer these questions, and communicate outcomes to diverse audiences. I am a self-starter who is energized by working on problems that require me to grow my skillset, whether that means learning a new programming language or communicating to a new type of stakeholder. I am looking for opportunities to use data to tell stories and solve problems at a collaborative, mission-driven organization that is building a more equitable future.
