About Sarah Aiello

Cohort top 20% MBA graduate with a concentration in Entrepreneurship and a seasoned consulting professional with government and private sector experience. Strong history of leadership, mentorship, and instituting process improvements to manage change in organizations. As a consultant for 1607 Strategies, Sarah assessed and reported on House Financial Services Committee activities, drafting summary memos distributed to clients participating in Small Business Administration (SBA) lending programs. In 2019, she served as operations coordinator for the White House Internship Program, managing dynamic personalities and logistics to recruit dozens of world-class interns. In her role, she focused primarily on their mentorship and development. Prior to that, Sarah was the Staff Assistant at Senator Pat Toomey’s office where she organized workshops, managed the tour program for PA constituents, managed the intern program, and wrote a best practices document still in use today. Sarah majored in Political Science and Spanish Language in her undergraduate studies and went on to fill top positions in student government and the Student Conduct Appellate Board. Colleagues describe her as personable, engaged no matter the situation, and extremely dedicated. Bilingual in English and Spanish, Sarah volunteered in Tena, Ecuador, helping run a mobile health clinic for low-income families. Key Accomplishments: • Supported the development of CBP’s 2024-2028 agency-wide Strategy. • Developed and nurtured 93 White House interns hailed as “future leaders”. Vetted 300+ competitive applications for 3 school terms. • Served as liaison between Internship Program and 30 other White House programs, advising on sensitive human resource matters with White House Counsel. • Transformed teamwork seamlessly from in-office to remote working for 3 months during onset of COVID-19 pandemic by maintaining a running list of tasks digitally to complete each day and rigorous weekly goal setting.
