About Sarah Bates

I desire to help develop products that people want to buy because they're beneficial in an educational, recreational, or emotional way. I have always loved finding new products on the market that exemplify those traits and having the chance to share those products with my sphere of influence. This passion is what draws me to a career in product development. My BSc in Business Administration with a minor in marketing from Auburn University confirmed my career interests and equipped me with invaluable insights such as: • Learning that it is about building relationships to understand the impact of merchandising • Seeing that we need to use both quantitative and qualitative data to create the best products I’ve enjoyed my customer facing roles at leading entertainment providers as I get to see firsthand what guests want out of their vacations and their merchandise, and I now desire to use my education and experiences in an administrative, marketing role. I foresee being able to continue developing the core attributes that help me exceed my goals, like my attention to detail, efficiency, and effective rapport building, in order to continue being an award-winning, top performer. My marketing, merchandising, and product development key areas of knowledge include marketing strategy, project planning, retail trend analysis, survey data analysis, and using PowerPoint and Excel to convey and illustrate data.
