About Sarah Baugh

Sarah specialises in all aspects of property based agricultural and landed estate work. She provides clients with a detailed knowledge and understanding of matters arising in the acquisition and disposal of freehold land as well as agricultural, residential or business leasehold matters with particular emphasis on Agricultural Holding Act tenancies, estate management, refinancing, subsidy advice and agri-environmental schemes. Sarah has built her reputation acting as legal adviser to some of the largest landed estates across the Midlands and into Wales as well as multi generational family farmers in reorganising their farming business structures and partnerships. Sarah is a frequent public speaker contributing regularly to seminars on her chosen subject area, as well as providing regular commentary to local and national media.Sarah is a member of the Law Society, Agricultural Law Association (she has recently been admitted as a Fellow of the Association having completed their independent examination of her knowledge of all aspects of Rural Law) and is a serving Country Landowners Association (CLA) committee member, being Vice Chairman of the Staffordshire Branch. She has also recently embarked on a five-year term on the CLA’s National Legal, Parliamentary and Property Rights Sub Committee.Specialties: Property related rural and agricultural law transactions, acquisitions and disposals of freehold and leasehold properties, subsidy issues and tenancy queries covering both residential and agricultural properties.
