About Sarah Beane

I'm a copywriter specialising in the ever expanding market of medicine and health. I love being able to take the fascinating subject of medicine and blending it with creativity and imagination to forge something that's readable, enlightening and entertaining. I've been lucky to work across a variety of disciplines and subjects such as life changing IVF products, beautifully crafted children's materials and hard hitting charitable campaigns. Before I started working as a copywriter, I completed my MA in Science Journalism and was lucky enough to experience the newsrooms and editorial environments of The Times, BBC Focus and the Eastern Daily Press. Before that, I read a BSc in Biomedical Sciences. These two degrees have provided me with the essential bedrock of scientific knowledge and writing skill that I now use everyday in my work. One of the proudest moments in my burgeoning career was in 2015, when I was a winner of the inaugural IPA PIP Award For Young Talent. What made me prouder still was taking the simple idea of hiding warnings about legal highs in plain sight and developing it into a living, breathing campaign that spread across the country.
