About Sarah Bennett

I am a senior nursing major at Truman State University. After graduation, I will be returning to St.Louis to start my career at Mercy Hospital St. Louis, as a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Nurse! I served as the Public Relations Coordinator for Truman State University Homecoming Committee, the Social Chair for the Nursing Student Association and I was the Sophomore Cohort of 2024’s Nursing Student Representative at the Department of Nursing’s Faculty Meetings. I currently volunteer in the Nursing Department for my scholarship job, where I aid in teaching underclassmen nursing students their clinical skills. I previously served as Vice President of Marketing, Pledge Class President, Junior Panhellenic Council PR chair, and as the Director of Merchandising in Alpha Gamma Delta. I have been a pediatric nurse tech for 2 years at Ranken Jordan Pediatric Bridge Hospital, and this summer I completed my Nurse Externship at Barnes Jewish Hospital on their 7900 Acute Medicine unit! A fun fact about me is that this past summer, after studying Spanish for 7 years, I was able to go on my first international trip, in Costa Rica!
