About Sarah Blevins

I am a graduate of Union University, holding a BA in English with a creative writing emphasis and a minor in communication studies. During my time at Union, I developed both my creative and academic writing, critical thinking, and communication skills. I also served on the executive team for two honor societies on campus: Alpha Psi Omega and Sigma Tau Delta. Because of my major, I am well versed in both creative writing and literature. I also collaborated with classmates and professors in the publication of my university's annual faculty journal, acting as lead editor for one article, as well as copy editor for both the academic journal and a YA fiction novel. As part of my minor, I collaborated with classmates on a social media campaign in which we wrote blog posts and maintained a professional social media presence. My relevant classes include those in creative writing, literature, editing, public relations, theatre, and journalism. My undergraduate career cultivated a passion for higher education. Since 2022, I have worked in my alma mater’s library, a job which I absolutely love. I hope to continue working in higher education in the years to come.
