About Sarah Boston

Sarah graduated Griffith University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy with Honours and a Bachelor of Exercise Science. Sarah’s Honours thesis investigated predictors of low back pain in elite Australian Football League athletes. Her research involved a 10 month prospective study which she performed whilst also undertaking her double degree program. Since graduating, Sarah has worked for Allsports Physiotherapy on the Gold Coast. Her role at Allsports has included being the Team Physiotherapist to the Southport Sharks Football Club, Team Physiotherapist for Vanuatu in the Oceania Hockey Junior World Cup Qualifiers, onsite Physiotherapist for Village Roadshow Theme Parks as well as a Clinical Pilates Instructor and Physiotherapist at Allsports Physiotherapy's new Gold Coast home at Parkwood Village. Sarah currently works part time at Allsports since returning from maternity leave. Sarah has long had an interest in sport and rehabilitation. She was a member of the Northern Territory Institute of Sport in netball for 6 years and competed at national and international events where she developed her appreciation for the importance of prevention of injuries, rehabilitation and exercise prescription. Her interest and experience in these areas continues to grow.
