About Sarah Braime

I have recently graduated from The University of Law with a Distinction in my MA Law (Conversion), receiving 92% in my dissertation focused on Technology Facilitated Violence Against Women and Girls and associated criminal activities. Prior to joining the course I was awarded a Career Changer Scholarship worth in recognition of my determination to study law and previous professional and academic achievements. I graduated from Royal Holloway University of London in 2019 with a 2:1 in BA Geography and a First in my dissertation entitled “How a Hashtag Changed the World: An Exploration of the Me Too Movement”, focused on feminism and its presence in social media. Upon graduating university, I was awarded the Department of Geography Excellence Prize in recognition of my academic achievement and contributions to the department as the President of the Geography Society. I was also awarded the Passport Award in recognition of my involvement with the university beyond academic studies. In addition to my academic achievements I have eight years of work experience across the retail, hospitality and care industries. Throughout this time I have honed my interpersonal skills, growing in confidence by developing my communication and problem solving skills while always prioritising customer service. My work ethic has led me to managerial roles such as Lancome Account Manager and Assistant Manager at Forte Kitchen. While working for Lancome I had the opportunity to work independently to advance my counter's sales performance through building customer relationships and event planning. While working as an Assistant Manager I had the opportunity to manage busy restaurant services and lead a front of house team assigning them roles that highlighted their individual strengths.
