Subject Matter Expert (SME) in assessing the potential effects of project construction activities on soils and recommending key mitigation measures for proper soil handling procedures, erosion and sediment control, and reclamation, for Reclamation Plans, Environmental Protection Plans, and Environmental Assessments- 8+ years experience assessing landscape, soil and vegetation parameters for reclamation plans, environmental assessments, and post-construction monitoring programs, for both forested and agricultural land uses- Ample experience conducting and coordinating field programs throughout British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba; post-construction monitoring, weed/clubroot, Phase I and II ESAs, groundwater sampling, soil characterization and sampling - Knowledge of both provincial and/or Canada Energy Regulator (CER) regulations for pipeline and transmission line projects; and - Completed a Masters in Science from the University of Guelph; My research involved the calibration of a regional soil moisture network in the South Saskatchewan River Watershed. This required the investigation of spatial variability of the network at multiple scales, through comparison with intensive sampling data from the Canadian Experiment for Soil Moisture 2010 (CanEx-SM10).
