Background
About Sarah Cantrill
I started Story Storks & Co. ten years ago as something to earn me a bit of pocket money whilst I had babies. Ten years later we're still going, delivering early years storytelling and theatre to the people of Surrey and Middx. We works out of The Rose, Kingston and The Exchange, Twickenham, to deliver holiday workshops and theatre. In addition, we regularly visit schools and nurseries as our work helps to develop childrens early years language skills. I recently published my first paper on how better to engage parents to improve early years literacy outcomes, and continue to research in this field. I also have an interest in local history, and have researched and written four stories from Kingston's history, turning academic research into a story that all the family can enjoy. As Kingston is my home, so I am keen to play my part in helping to build a strong and proud community. I currently serve as the Secretary on the Friends of Kingston Music Service committee, and I'm always keen to hear of Kingston projects with which I can be involved.
