About Sarah Carson

With over eleven years of experience as a registered nurse, I have developed a passion for nursing education and leadership. As a clinical nurse educator at Providence Health & Services, I supported the orientation, training, and development of nurses in the operating room at a Level II Trauma Center. I also partnered with the nursing management and quality teams to ensure compliance with standards and policies, and to implement evidence-based practices and improvement initiatives. Prior to that, I worked as a registered nurse in the same units, providing high-quality care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures. I hold a master's degree in nursing education from Western Governors University, and a bachelor's degree in nursing from the same institution. My mission is to empower and inspire nurses to advance their knowledge, skills, and careers, and to contribute to the health and well-being of the communities they serve.
