I am a reliable, efficient Category Manager with 14 years UK and international experience in Sports Lifestyle Footwear and Apparel. An expert in people management, project management and creating solutions. From an early point in my career, I have developed a passion for people management - I lead by example and have a proven track record of coaching my team to excel within their roles and ultimately leading to promotions. Structuring my teams into being the best possible set up for the business so something I have a lot of experience in – this includes setting up new teams, working with agencies, consultants and increasing head count. Short term solution expert – have strong skills in creating quick term fixes and making it work across the whole business whilst maintaining a calm team. Additionally, I have a lot of experience in mid-term planning – including product life cycle management, creating and launching new categories and franchise management. Managing relationships with key stakeholders both external and internal is one thing I am proud of. Over the years, I have worked with a lot of buyers, licensing partners and agencies and have ensured that that process has worked smoothly throughout. I also love meeting new people and learning new perspectives.
