About Sarah Conroy

I’m a program analyst with an interest in establishing, expanding, and improving public benefit programs. I’m currently employed as a health care consultant for the Department of Veteran Affairs, where I provide technical assistance and consultation to improve the quality, accessibility, and cost-effectiveness of health care for Veterans. In this role, I work directly with researchers and directors within the VA to improve the efficiency and impact of VA research and evaluation efforts. I have specialized knowledge of VA responses to the opioid epidemic and Veteran suicide. In addition to improving public health programs, I hope to develop and implement policies which seek to increase economic equality and social welfare in the United States. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Public Policy and Sociology, with concentrations in Policy Analysis and Public Policy and Inequality, respectively. My background in public policy and sociology enables me to understand root causes of social inequality and to craft and evaluate public responses to improve social welfare.
