About Sarah Cuda

I'm an experienced civil engineer with a background designing high voltage transmission line projects throughout the Midwest. My portfolio includes a variety of rebuilds, refurbishments, and greenfield projects ranging up to 345kV. I have expertise designing traditional round wood poles, laminated wood and tubular steel structures, line switch poles, underbuild provisioning, OPGW upgrades, as well as limited knowledge in lattice tower analysis. My strengths include mentorship, flexibility to meet project changes, and the ability to stay well-organized meeting a high standard of quality under pressure. My goal is to grow as a technical expert in my field, and to be an example inspiring a passion for transmission lines in others. I am especially interested in advanced tower analysis. My skillset includes structural analysis, foundation design, quality control & assurance (QAQC), specification drafting and reviewing, team leadership, and budget management. I have expertise in PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, FAD Tools, Excel, and Bluebeam Revu.
