About Sarah Debaar

I am an animated individual of the artistic persuasion currently living in sunny Florida. For as long as I can remember I have been fascinated by how things move. That is what drew me to animation. To me animation is like breathing life into a character. What was once a static object becomes something that can interact and react to its environment, with a little help of course. At present I am enjoying sharing my passion for animation with new artists, but would love to one day return to the industry. I enjoy working collaboratively with and learning from other skilled artist to deliver high quality, engaging visual effects and animation. I am primarily an animator but dabble in every aspect of the 3D pipeline. I have experience in working with Maya, MotionBuilder, Photoshop, Microsoft Office Applications, and Perforce. I also possess a wide range of traditional art skills including painting and photography. I am currently in the process of teaching myself Unity, UDK, and Flash. Experience with hand-keying and editing motion capture data for animation. Experience creating basic biped and creature rigs for video games. Passion for visual storytelling and problem-solving.
