Sarah is Pew's regional lead for the Blue Nature Alliance, where she leads and manages the European and overseas territories portfolio. As a purpose-driven public policy professional working on green governance, nature-based solutions, sustainable development, and government relations, is presently based in the United States. Sarah has many years of experience in leadership roles throughout the public, private, and not-for-profit sectors, working with c-suite-level executives, senior high-ranking state officials, and senior government officials. Sarah's extensive focus and skills are in systems leadership, strategic and stakeholder management, policy analysis, communications, and managing multiple projects and campaigns. Before joining Pew Charitable Trusts and the Blue Nature Alliance, Sarah was the public policy and parliamentary political advisor to the current Cabinet Member and Government Leader in Ireland responsible for Environment, Climate, Communications, and Transport. Sarah is well-versed and informed in geopolitics and international affairs, having taught international relations, comparative politics, and political theory as a teaching assistant at University College Dublin. Sarah is a motivated and determined character and is eager to learn, thrive, and grow. She is committed to working in a meaningful and value-driven environment. Sarah has been awarded the European Institute for Communications Fellowship and University College Dublin President's Awards.
