About Sarah Eckerson
As a lifelong athlete and sports fan, there is nothing I am more passionate about than the ability of sports to create community and inspire greatness. As a graduate student pursuing my Master's degree in Sports Business, I am learning– in school and through professional experiences– how sports organizations inspire excellence, engage fans, and leave legacies. I am passionate about cultivating exciting experiences for fans, creating meaningful partnerships, building community, and innovating changes in the industry. I am especially passionate about contributing to the growth of both women's sports and women in sports! When I'm not in the classroom, in the office, or on the basketball court, you can find me running, reading, or hanging out in Central Park. I also love traveling and immersing myself in new cultures– a recent trip highlight was spending a week solo-traveling down the coast of Albania, and my next bucket list trip is a hut to hut trek in the Dolomites!
