About Sarah Eichler

Currently, I work teaching English and running the dance program at Sage Creek High School in Carlsbad. I am currently teaching 9th and 10th grade English but will be teaching 11th next year. I teach all level dance classes at Sage Creek and am responsible for all logistics including fundraising, show production, hiring artists, coordinating education and team-building trips, and more. I obtained my Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction and Single Subject Teaching Credential in English from the University of San Diego. Since, I also recently received my P.E. credential from the UCLA extension. I received perfect marks on all of my student-teaching evaluations, including from my full-time student teaching supervisor, California Teacher of the Year, Jaime Brown. I was recommended by my professor for a long-term sub position at Sage Creek High School teaching 11th and 12th grade English which is how I came to be hired after building strong working and personal relationships with teachers and students at school. I am thrilled to be teaching at a school with such clear focus on student needs and transferable skills. After years of professionally dancing in New York City, I am excited for the opportunity augment and continue building the dance program.
