Eastern Wisconsin Division Transfusion Services Facilitator. Generalist in the areas of Hematology, Coagulation, Urinalysis, and Chemistry. • Transfusion services facilitator of St. Vincent Hospital (Green Bay), St. Mary’s Hospital (Green Bay), St. Clare Hospital (Oconto Falls), and St. Nicholas Hospital (Sheboygan). • Creates and maintains all Blood Bank procedures, keeping with regulations of the CAP (College of American Pathologists) and WSLH (Wisconsin State Laboratory of Hygiene). • Creates and performs competencies for all HSHS Eastern Wisconsin Division blood bank employees. • Assigns and submits proficiency testing as needed. • Member of the Trauma Operational Committee, Blood Bank Standardization Team, and Quality Improvement team. • Trains new employees and teaches MT and MLT students in hospital blood banking. • Manages reagent and supply inventory, and implements new technologies. • Reviews all blood supplier invoices and reference lab results and billing. • Reviews CAP checklists, assists with inspection processes, and makes appropriate corrections and submissions. • Performs Sweat Chloride collections and analyses, and was instrumental in the implementation of new sweat chloride technology. • CAP Inspection Team Member
