About Sarah Ely

I am currently a teacher and dog sitter with seven years in both industries. Creativity and people are what I'm passionate about. I thrive in environments where I can problem solve, generate ideas, brainstorm with co-workers, and engage with and create relationships with people. Currently in my teaching role, I wear many hats. I not only teach, but I also coach the speech and debate team. I also conduct after school tutoring with students in my subject and other subjects. Finally, I have been on the English language acquisition curriculum team for three years. This experience has allowed me to teach both in person and online, and has challenged me to update and modify my craft to be effective for multiple different learners. As a pet sitting independent contractor, I have spent the last seven years building my business. I have successfully increased my bookings each year with my profits nearly tripling from 2019. Not only do I care for other's pets, but I also manage my schedule, advertise and promote for the business, utilize social media, address customer service issues, and foster relationships with clients to serve them well. I have both quality professional skills as well as nurturing pet-sitting skills that translates into an extremely positive experience. Personally, I enjoy learning new skills and hobbies and growing as a person. I love engaging in creative activities such as painting and writing, and I love encouraging others to do so as well. Seeing people achieve and thrive is something I find so much joy in, and as a friend and wife, I love helping people find their passions in life too. I am also an enneagram enthusiast and am a 7 wing 6.
