About Sarah Espinet

Hello! I have recently started working in the software industry after 13 years in Early Childhood Education. I completed studies at Epidocus where I learned JavaScript and C#, along with tools for each, for use in web development. I also honed my interpersonal skills through Epicodus' focus on pair programming; I like to work on my own sometimes, but being able to talk to other people helps me clarify my ideas. In addition to Epicodus, I finished two six-week internships at iGrafx. During the first, I focused on C# development, creating and deploying an API for use with Slack slash commands. For the second internship, I gained a broader understanding of the different parts of a SaaS company as a Junior Product Manager. Upon completing this internship, I became a full-time Junior Digital Adoption Specialist. I am excited to use my knowledge of different aspects of a SaaS company and how they work together, as well as my specific interest in programming to work toward a future career in software development or related roles. During my free time I enjoy dancing, hiking, archery, music, and playing board games with friends. Thank you for taking the time to view my profile!
