About Sarah Fraser

Sarah joined positively UK as a volunteer coordinator in 1997 after 7 years experience of volunteering at The Landmark HIV centre in South London. At that time all peer support at Positively UK was provided by paid staff. The main focus of her work with Positively UK has always been with volunteers and in particular developing the role of volunteers in peer support. In 2012 she managed the pilot HIV peer mentoring project and pregnancy peer mentoring and now manages the national roll out of Project 100, Positively UK's ambitious project to ensure that everyone in the UK has access to quality peer support at any time after an HIV diagnosis. The 4 year project works with individuals, organisations and NHS clinics around the UK, to train people living with HIV to be peer mentors accredited with a level two qualification in peer mentoring. Sarah is Services Lead at Positively UKSarah is an independent supervisor with individuals and groups and has attained the certificate and diploma in supervision with CSTD, centre for supervision and team development. Her current contracts include Kings Health Care Trust and St Barnabas Hospice.
