About Sarah Gates

I joined Bank of America in 2018 as an Implementation Manager for Virtual Payables in the Commercial Card space, where I quickly found a passion for optimizing the client experience. In 2019, I was promoted to a Treasury Manager leading a team of 17 talented professionals to implement purchasing card programs for the U.S East region. Not only did I consistently receive top-tier client satisfaction ratings in my role as an Implementation Manager, but my team also became number two in the Organization for client satisfaction, which was a HUGE win for us all and a testament to our effective approach and hard work. In 2021, I transitioned to a role as an Operations Consultant within Corporate Accounts Payable on the Employee Expense Reimbursement team focusing on Expense Policy and Standard ownership and governance. By 2022, I was promoted to a Senior Operations Manager, continuing to drive efficiency and improve our processes while leading a team of 8 Operation Analyst responsible for the day-to-day expense processing operations. Today, I'm proud to lead a global $1B Employee Expense Reimbursement program, while also owning the Enterprise Policy and Standard for expense management. I collaborate closely with COO's, stakeholders and expense owners to ensure compliance, drive system adoption and optimize processes for over active users. Throughout my career, I've been passionate about leadership, team development, and the human connections that make work meaningful.
