About Sarah Glendening

Proud recipient of the 2024 FPRA Chapter President of the Year, 2022 Ginnie Duffy Troyer Award of Professionalism, named the 2021 Joe Curley Rising Leader, and 2020 Member of the Year for the Central West Coast chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association. Served as the 2023-2024 Chapter President. I was born and raised in the Sarasota/Manatee area, and worked in New York and Los Angeles in a career as a performing artist. Today I’m passionate about advancing my community through nonprofit work. My previous experience as a performing artist and producer is an important element in the context of the work I do today, and in my continued personal passion for the arts. Some performance credits: Original cast theater credits include Broadway, The Public Theater, Geffen Playhouse, Pasadena Playhouse, and Hartford Stage. Television:"Cold Case","Law & Order","Guiding Light","As the World Turns","All My Children" and the Lifetime pilot "Mistresses".
