About Sarah Hendricks

As a recent graduate from Elon University, I am passionate about strategic communications and psychology, with a strong interest in social media management, public relations, and event coordination. Throughout my time at Elon, I have gained valuable experience in professional development, communications, and philanthropy. As a Student Ambassador and Peer Advisor for Elon’s Professional Development Center, I have worked closely with students to refine their resumes, enhance their LinkedIn profiles, and navigate career opportunities. I have also assisted with projects that support student success and professional growth. Previously, I served as the Vice President of Philanthropy for Alpha Chi Omega. I organized initiatives to raise awareness about domestic violence and worked directly with Family Abuse Services of Alamance County to support survivors. This role strengthened my leadership skills and ability to develop impactful campaigns. My background also includes six years of lifeguarding, where I took on leadership responsibilities as a head lifeguard, as well as experience in childcare and pet sitting. As I prepare for graduation in Spring 2025, I am eager to apply my skills in a role that allows me to combine my passion for strategic communication, digital engagement, and relationship-building.
