About Sarah Jackson

An accomplished finance and organisational leader, I'm passionate about developing new opportunities through mergers and acquisitions or start-ups and bringing them to life. I am looking for the opportunity to apply my skills at the next level, delivering on a larger scale and bringing greater impact to Africa. Spending the last 8 years working for the impact venture group Verdant Frontiers, I have been immersed in the development and assessment of investment opportunities, both greenfield and acquisitions, and the development of the management structures to create the investment machine. From opportunity identification, through initial assessment, deep-dive modelling and due-diligence, leading to tax and legal structuring and project set-up, I have been deeply involved in the entire process across the Real Estate, Agriculture, Healthcare and FMCG sectors amongst others. More recently in leading the finance function for Verdant Ventures, I built the team and systems and processes for finance and investment assessment for the group’s real estate arm. Prior to that as the CEO of Verdant Consulting, with my team I supported a range of entrepreneurs, developing and refining their business models and raising finance.
