About Sarah Larson

I am a life sciences professional, with over 20 years of experience in the pharma, biotech, and medical device industries. I have a strong background in patient advocacy, clinical operations, and clinical trial transparency/data sharing. I am passionate about putting the patient first in every aspect of drug development and market access. As a grateful cancer survivor and a former clinical trial participant, I leverage my personal and professional insights to advocate for patient-centric policies and practices, health equity, and ethical data sharing. I have built departments and led global cross-functional teams, established policies and processes, partnered with IT and external vendors, and chaired senior-level steering committees to advance these goals. I also collaborate with patient groups, regulators, researchers, and industry peers to shape the global landscape and ensure that patients' voices are heard and valued. Beyond my professional career, I am proud to volunteer as a breast cancer advocate to support legislative and public policies that get us closer to finding a cure. I am a firm believer that any party conducting research MUST engage educated patient advocates! We will be your strongest allies in ensuring the research is feasible, meaningful, and is shared with the community.
