About Sarah Ledoux

Ever since I was a young child, I've dreamed of a career in museum development. That's not true, but I am grateful that my step-by-step path of education and jobs have led me to this field. Development combines my personal and professional interests, and I have found work at which I truly excel. I love connecting with people, I'm fanatically organized, a writer at heart, and have always been excited to support a great event. I find it ideal that I can use these skills to do something as important as raising funds for dynamic nonprofit organizations that are central to our communities. My background is quite varied. Thus far, I have worked advancement, data, writing, customer service, public programming, visitor services, and membership positions. I have centered my career around museums and have worked in historic homes and buildings, a children's museum, and an association. I believe that this gives me a unique perspective to contribute to any future position. I've seen it all, and because of my history and outstanding work ethic, I can do it all.
