About Sarah Lobo

I possess 22 years Senior Management experience with a specialism in building commercial brands within the Health, Fitness and Lifestyle industries. I have extensive knowledge of industry specific Health & Safety, Business Development and Project Management, with the added ability to create bespoke Health & Wellbeing ‘prehibilitation’ programs. My passion lies in solving real consumer / brand problems and building brand equity through original and level thought-leadership, innovation, vision and strategy. I thrive in a matrix organisation and strive to create an environment where bold thinkers can express themselves fearlessly. I am an expert in focusing limited resources to make the greatest brand impact and enjoy influencing senior leadership teams to connect & deliver against a bold, singular brand vision. As Head of External Accreditations for Right Directions, my remit is to manage and act as brand ambassador for ‘Quest’ the U.K Quality Award for Leisure, this covers over 800 leisure facilities / teams nationwide;I manage this program on behalf of our partner organisations Sport England, Sport Scotland, Sport Wales and Sport Northern Ireland. In addition to Quest, I also co-ordinate and manage all other external accreditations delivered by Right Directions, these include IFI, Swim England’s Learn to Swim scheme and the Public Health Suffolk scheme. Other responsibilities include overseeing the future direction of ‘Quest’, training, recruiting and mentoring assessors, in addition to ensuring that high level support exists for our many fantastic assessors, mystery visitors and external stakeholders.
